Last week, Esai Morales was announced as Slade Wilson for the sophomore outing of Titans, the first DC Universe series. Now, Titans has found Deathstroke’s son, Jericho. The Wrap reports that Chella Man has been cast in the recurring role of Joseph Wilson for the highly-anticipated second season of the series.
Here’s the official character description for Chella Man’s Jericho:
“Son of the infamous DC villain Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), Joseph Wilson is the Titan known as Jericho. Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. This gentle natured yet proud hero has proven himself a formidable Titan.”
Jericho was created by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, the two people who also created his father, Deathstroke. The character made his debut in 1984’s Tales of the Teen Titans #43. Liam Hall plays a version of Jericho on The CW’s Arrow.
DC Universe’s Titans follows a grown-up Dick Grayson working as a Detective in Detroit, having left his nights with the Caped Crusader long in the past due to having fundamental differences with Batman’s methods and approach to crimefighting before becoming the leader of the heroes known as the Titans.
The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk and Minka Kelly as Dove.
Titans has been renewed for a second season on DC Universe. Make sure to keep an eye on Heroic Hollywood for all the latest on the series.
