‘Titans’ Season 2 Premiere Reveals Curran Walters’ Jason Todd Is Responsible For The Return Of SPOILER

Warning: The following post contains Titans season two spoilers concerning Curran Walters’ Jason Todd/Robin!

The second season premiere of Titans premieres on DC Universe and revealed that Curran Walters’ Robin/Jason Todd is responsible for the return of Deathstroke.

Curran Walters made his first appearance as Jason Todd/Robin in the first season of Titans and immediately established the Boy Wonder as a cocky young hero. Now, Curran Walters reprises his role as Jason Todd/Robin in the second season as a regular member of the Titans team, but his brash behavior seems to have placed the team in grave danger.

After a fight scene that draws the press to the site, Curran Walters’ Jason Todd/Robin interrupts a news broadcast to inform the public of the team’s return, shouting, “Titans are back, bitches!” Unfortunately, Slade Wilson/Deathstroke saw the broadcast while shopping for supplies and was evidently surprised to learn of the Titans’ return.

The comment by Curran Walters’ Boy Wonder prompts Slade Wilson to return to his home and make his way to the armory where his Deathstroke costume laid during his apparent time in retirement. Trailers for the second season of Titans suggested Deathstroke has a history with the previous incarnation of the Titans team and the comments by Curran Walters’ Jason Todd/Robin appeared to have prompted skilled assassin to emerge from the shadows.

In Season 2, following the aftermath of their encounter with Trigon, Dick reforms the Titans. Under his supervision in their new home at Titans Tower, Rachel, Gar and Jason Todd train together to hone their hero abilities and work together as a team. They are joined by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger aka Hawk and Dove and Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl. Although these original Titans attempt to transition into a regular life, when old enemies resurface everyone must come together to take care of unfinished business. And as this family of old and new Titans – including Conner Kent and Rose Wilson – learn to co-exist, the arrival of Deathstroke brings to light the sins of the old Titans which threaten to tear this new Titans family apart once more.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy. The series is also making a few additions for its sophomore outing, with Joshua Orpin and Esai Morales playing Superboy and Deathstroke, respectively, while Chella Man and Chelsea Zhang have also joined Titans as Deathstroke’s children. Natalie Gumede has signed on to play Mercy Graves and Game of Thrones star Iain Glen is on board as Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman.
