‘Titans’ Casts Esai Morales As Deathstroke For Season 2

Esai Morales has been cast as Deathstroke in the second season of DC Universe’s Titans.

DC Universe launched its original programming with Titans and the second season of the series is set to introduce Deathstroke, the DC Comics assassin and arch-enemy of team leader Dick Grayson. Now, Bad Boys star Esai Morales has been cast as the fan-favorite DC antagonist, who made his debut as the team’s chief adversary in issue No. 2 of The New Teen Titans in December 1980. Titans producers offered the following description of the show’s incarnation of Deathstroke:

Slade Wilson is known for being DC’s deadliest assassin. While serving his country, Slade became an elite soldier before government testing enhanced his physiology to near superhuman levels, putting him on a path of darkness and revenge. To his family, Slade is a father and husband, but to the rest of the world, he is feared by many as the infamous Deathstroke; selling his services to the highest bidder as the ruthless assassin that never gives up and never misses.

Esai Morales’ previous credits include Fast Food Nation Atlas Shrugged: Part II, Jarhead II: Field of Fire, and Gun Hill Road
