Earlier today, Walters took to social media to post a picture of Heath Ledger’s Joker from The Dark Knight and could be teasing an appearance from the Clown Prince of Crime and possibly even referencing a certain crowbar and Jason Todd’s brutal death at the hands of the Batman villain from the comic books.
You can check out Walters’s actual post below.
In the comic books, readers unanimously voted “Yes” for the death of Jason Todd. Flash forward, would you like to see the Joker make his Titans debut? And if so, would you like to see the death of Robin brought to live-action? Comment below!
Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson/Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan/Beast Boy.
The entire first season of Titans is now available for streaming exclusively on the DC Universe app. A second season is currently in development and expected to begin filming early next year for a debut on the streaming service sometime in 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on Titans as we learn it.
