‘Deadpool 2’: TJ Miller Reveals The One Thing He Wants For Weasel

During a recent interview, Deadpool star TJ Miller also revealed the one thing that he wants for Weasel in the 20th Century Fox sequel.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, actor and comedian TJ Miller has reassured fans that although there have been creative changes within the Deadpool team, we can definitely still expect more fun to come. Although “fun” may seem like it should be a given, it’s nice to see all the pieces still being held firmly together despite the creative changes.

Both the first film’s director, Tim Miller, and composer, Junkie XL, departed the movie over creative differences with Ryan Reynolds. Roughly two weeks ago, a replacement was name: John Wick‘s David Leitch, who has a strong stunt coordinator history working on films such as Fight Club, V for Vendetta, and 300 (among others).

In addition to reassuring us that the movie will still be plenty fun, TJ Miller also revealed the one thing that he wants for Weasel in the sequel:

“I have been talking with Ryan Reynolds and the writers, and they’re really excited about [Deadpool 2]. I think, for me, I just want Weasel to wield a gun, at one point. But there’s more fun stuff coming.”

Who better to talk about the fun of the movie than TJ Miller? Miller’s character (TJ, not to be confused with Tim), Weasel, was seen as some extra comic relief for the film, even though it was over-flowing with comedy already. It’s nice to see his character will be coming back strong, and if Miller has his way, wielding a gun.

Weasel does become the superhero the House in the comics, so will the live action Weasel go from one horrible alias to another horrible alias? At this point, it’s still too early to tell.

Are you excited to hear that Deadpool 2 will still be packing the fun? Make sure to let us know below in the comments!

Deadpool 2 is slated for a January 12th, 2018 release date.
