First ‘Loki’ Synopsis Teases Tom Hiddleston’s Return As The God Of Mischief

The first synopsis for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is here, teasing where the Disney Plus series finds the God of Mischief.

Fans finally got a brief glimpse at Tom Hiddleston’s Loki series in the brief teaser that debuted during the Super Bowl, with the villain vowing to “burn this place to the ground.” Since Tom Hiddleston has only recently begun work on the series, it isn’t surprising that Marvel Studios only included a short clip from Loki. However, the newly-released synopsis for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki confirms where the series finds the villain when it arrives in 2021.

According to the synopsis for Loki, the series takes place after Avengers: Endgame, following the version of Loki that escaped when Iron Man and Ant-Man travelled back to 2012 to retrieve the Tesseract. Avengers star Tom Hiddleston stars in Loki, a series that is said to follow the God of Mischief as he travels through time and becomes embroiled in major historical events. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has confirmed Loki will tie into the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Marvel Studios is developing several shows for Disney Plus, including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision, What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk. The Falcon and Winter Soldier is currently set to be the first Marvel Studios series to debut on Disney Plus.
