'Loki' will arrive a little earlier than expected...
Now that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is over, Marvel Studios has revealed a new premiere date for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. The highly anticipated show stars the God of Mischief as he’s roped into working for the Time Variance Agency following his escape from the timeline in Avengers: Endgame. The cosmic, time-travelling adventure looks like an incredible journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it’ll actually arrive a little earlier than expected.
It’ll now arrive on Disney Plus two days earlier than planned on June 9. Tom Hiddleston appeared in great little announcement video explaining how the Asgardian trickster doesn’t get enough love before confirming the new date. What this is also means is that the series will release new episodes on Wednesdays every week rather than on Fridays, which has been the typical schedule for both WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier so far. Take a look below.
What do you make of the new date for Loki? Are you excited to see Tom Hiddleston return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Where do you think the time-travelling Marvel Studios show will take us? Sound-off in the comments below!
Here is the official synopsis for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki:
