Tom Hiddleston’s ‘Loki’ Series Still Slated For Spring 2021

Marvel Studios is still planning on releasing the upcoming Disney Plus series in the spring for now.

Marvel Studios’ upcoming series centered on Tom Hiddleston’s Loki is still scheduled for a release in spring 2021.

August was supposed to be the start of Marvel Studios’ foray into television on Disney Plus with The Falcon and the Winter Solider. Now it seems Marvel Studios’ television shows have joined the movies with delays due to the ongoing worldwide pandemic. There’s currently no new release date set for The Falcon and the Winter Solider, but The Hollywood Reporter mentioned in their latest Heat Vision article that WandaVision is now slated for a spring 2021 release if all things go as planned. The article also offered an update on the upcoming Loki series starring Tom Hiddleston.

When Loki was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year, the series was slated for a spring 2021 release day. It sounds like Marvel Studios is sticking with that release date for the time being. While production was just getting started earlier this year before the shutdown, we got a few first looks at the project during Super Bowl LIV and via set photos of Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson.
