‘Kong: Skull Island’ Star Tom Hiddleston Says Film Is ‘Exciting’

Tom Hiddleston, on the red carpet for the Golden Globes, stopped to talk about his upcoming film, Kong: Skull IslandHe says that he has recently seen the film and even joked that Kong was a very “touchy” actor who didn’t like to come out of his trailer to shoot scenes.

“I can tell you that I saw it last week and it’s very exciting indeed. The thing about making that film, as an actor you’re only playing with half the tennis court because Kong isn’t there. He doesn’t come out of his trailer, he’s very touchy. And Kong is breathtaking in this. And Jordan Vogt-Roberts has executed a really original idea very beautifully.

Tom Hiddleston seems very happy with the final product that is Skull Island. Hopefully the movie is worthwhile. We’ll find out in a couple of months.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts. In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific—as beautiful as it is treacherous—unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.

Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Skull Island stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Toby Kebbell, Tom Wilkinson and John C. Reilly.

Kong: Skull Island will be released in theaters on March 10, 2017.
