It's time for 'Uncharted' to go into post-production.
Shortly after Tom Holland revealed the first look at hi Nathan Drake in Sony’s Uncharted, the studio announced that the film has finally wrapped production. It’s been a long road for the video game adaptation after it took a long time to even get off the ground. But after director Reuben Fleischer joined the project alongside Holland and Mark Wahlberg, Uncharted has finally been shot. Although many have their issues with the project, like Wahlberg’s casting as Sully, it’s quickly become an interesting project.
Some fans were surprised that Uncharted has wrapped so quickly, even though Tom Holland revealed production had begun back in July. The first set photos from the film emerged online in early September, showing off Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland shooting together in Berlin. Sony took to Twitter to announce the news, posting a shot of the Uncharted clapper board alongside Nate’s iconic ring necklace. Take a look below.

Based on the PlayStation video game series of the same name, the film is set to chronicle the first encounter between Tom Holland’s Nathan Drake and the fortune seeker and businessman Victor Sullivan. The film is reportedly influenced by a sequence in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Directed by Venom helmer Reuben Fleischer from a script written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Rafe Judkins, Uncharted is being produced by Sony PlayStation Productions, with Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan producing alongside Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner, and Ari Arad.
Uncharted will be released in theaters on October 8th, 2021. Stay tuned for all the latest news on Tom Holland and Sony’s Uncharted and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more video content!
