‘Toy Story 4’: Tom Hanks Shares Photo From Final Recording Session As Woody

Toy Story 4 star Tom Hanks has shared a behind-the-scenes picture showing off his final recording session as Woody.

Tom Hanks shared this behind-the-scenes picture today to mark his last session as Woody for Toy Story 4. Hanks was joined by other cast members, who were seemingly recording alongside the actor for an undisclosed scene.

Toy Story 4 seems to be that last one in the Toy Story saga. According to its plot, Woody and company will hit the road once again for their last adventure to help a fork-turned-toy embrace being a toy. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have also spoken about how the ending of the movie is so emotional that it will leave everyone in tears.

Should Toy Story end here? Or do we need more of these movies from Pixar? Comment below!

Here’s Toy Story 4‘s synopsis:

“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky, declares himself as ‘trash’ and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy. But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep. After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.”

Directed by Josh Cooley, Toy Story 4 features vocal talent from Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Estelle Harris, Annie Potts, Joan Cusack, Blake Clark, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jodi Benson, Michael Keaton, Jeff Pidgeon, Kristen Schaal, Bonnie Hunt, Timothy Dalton, Jeff Garlin, Laurie Metcalf, Lori Alan, Keanu Reeves, Tony Hale, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, and Patricia Arquette.

Toy Story 4 will arrive in theaters on June 21, 2019.
