Netflix also shared this brief description for the upcoming film:
“Make no mistake, this is not a military operation. See Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal attempt to rob one of the world’s most violent cartels in Triple Frontier.”
Triple Frontier was a film that had a tumultuous road in its development. Originally set at Paramount Pictures with Channing Tatum, Tom Hardy and Mahershala Ali previously attached to the project, the film was dropped by the studio and Tatum, Hardy and Ali all left the project as well. The film has since been picked up by Netflix.
J.C. Chandor’s previous directorial efforts before Triple Frontier include Margin Call, All Is Lost and A Most Violent Year.
