Twitter Creates New Paid Stickers To Promote WB’s ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’

Twitter has upgraded its digital sticker feature to now include a new paid version, and WB is the first movie studio getting in on the promotional opportunity. J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter franchise continuation, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be the first movie to be promoted using Twitter’s paid sticker feature. The stickers can be used to help decorate pictures taken and sent via Snapchat.

Along with the promo for Fantastic Beasts, Twitter users will be able to see four new stickers in their libraries – all of which have some sort of relation to the movie’s main character, magizoologist Newt Scamander. The stickers include a wand, a scarf, a coat, and a suitcase. The images work as in interactive and visual hashtag, which allow you to tap or click on them to see who else is also taking about Fantastic Beasts.

In Fantastic Beasts, it’s the mid 1920’s and Newt Scamander has just arrived in New York after a quick layover after trekking the globe looking for and documenting magical beasts and creatures. His travel plans are abruptly disrupted by an American Muggle named Jacob (Dan Fogler), a magical case that was apparently lost, and some runaway beasts.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled for a November, 18th 2016 release.
