While fans have recently been treated to a new adventure to play through in the universe with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a new unannounced game recently appeared on the European Playstation Network that has sent many players into a frenzy. The new title, Star Wars: Project Maverick doesn’t explicitly reveal anything about the new game, but the art that came along with the reveal subtly teases fans with what they might expect.
The surprising new reveal of Project Maverick came from ‘PSN releases’ on Twitter and showed off an intimidating image for the game. From the image alone that focuses on X-Wings and an imposing Imperial Star Destroyer it seems that the next Star Wars game will follow in the footsteps of the fan favorite Rogue Squadron series. Plus with the obvious connotation that ‘Maverick’ has (obviously pointing to Tom Cruise’s character in Top Gun), it’s a solid guess that players will once again be hurtling through space to battle the Empire. Take a look at the surprising reveal of Project Maverick below.
What do you want to see from Project Maverick? Do you want it to focus on space battles or something else entirely? Sound off in the comments below!
