As Doctor Strange gets closer to its Blu-ray and DVD release, Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park gradually reveals more of his unused designs for the Scott Derrickson-directed movie through his social media accounts.

Park released a close up of this design on his Instagram earlier this week, but it only showed The Sorcerer Supreme’s head and torso. This new look at the design includes a full view of his body and more cloak-like cape.

The costume they went with in the film is more faithful to the comic version, but this one definitely has a cool modern edge to it. Could you see Benedict Cumberbatch in this costume? Let us know what you think of this design in the comments!

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

Doctor Strange releases on Digital HD on Feb. 14 followed by the Blu-ray and DVD release on Feb. 28. In our review we gave the film an 8.5/10. If you want to read Heroic Hollywood’s full review, click here!
