Vanessa Hudgens Is Down To Play Catwoman In Matt Reeves’ The Batman

In a series of Instagram posts, Vanessa Hudgens expressed how much she would love to play Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman will reportedly feature multiple villains and fan-favorite Catwoman is said to be one of the many antagonists who will confront the Caped Crusader. While casting details for Catwoman are currently under wraps, Vanessa Hudgens is rumored to be a contender for the role of the master cat burglar, who frequently shifts between being a lover and adversary to Batman in the comics.

While the rumor remains unverified at this moment, Vanessa Hudgens openly expressed her willingness to play Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman through a series of posts in her Instagram stories feed. In fact, Vanessa Hudgens described Catwoman as a “dream role” in a caption included with one of the photos she shared.

Plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and featured a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman. Matt Reeves also confirmed that it will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC Films.

The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, New Gods, and Nightwing.
