A new clip from Sony’s highly anticipated antihero film Venom shows the titular character in action against a formidable SWAT team.
Ever since the first trailer for the famed Spider-Man villain film dropped, fans have been eager to see the titular character in action. While most of the previews gave given quick glimpses at what Tom Hardy’s character can do, this latest clip changes everything. This new video showcases Eddie Brock asking the SWAT Team that is about to gas him too back off. When they don’t heed his warning he puts “his gas mask” on and proceeds to efficiently dismantle the law enforcement team. You can check out the video below.
The symbiote makes quick work of the boys in blue, but in Brock’s defense, they were warned that continuing to threaten him was a bad idea. And from the what ends up happening in the video, it is definitely safe to say that this antihero is not one to mess with. The action witnessed in this clip only continues to heighten the anticipation for Venom’s first film. Fans will get to see this and hopefully a lot more action when the film hits theaters in October.
