The TV spots, for the most part, do not tell us anything that we haven’t already seen in previous trailers. Most of them give us the broad strokes of the plot regarding the evil company and the fact that Eddie Brock is investigating it. It is also implied that he got the Venom symbiote from said investigation. These new TV spots, however, feature far more action then their main trailer counterparts.
In the TV spots we see Venom attack people and fighting with armed SWAT members. He throws them against walls, takes massive bites out of them and aids Eddy in his motorcycle escape. In addition, we also see his battle against another symbiote. However, these TV spots do not give us any hints as to how this new symbiote will be involved in the plot.
