Vin Diesel Announces John Cena Has Joined ‘Fast And Furious 9’

John Cena joined Vin Diesel in a recent video that announced the Bumblebee star will appear in Fast and Furious 9.

Fast and Furious 9 hits theaters next year, with Vin Diesel of course returning as his character Dominic Toretto. The franchise has recruited many stars over the years to appear alongside Vin Diesel and the rest of the crew, including Dwayne Johnson,  Jason Statham, and Gal Gadot. Now it seems that a new celebrity will join Vin Diesel in Fast and Furious 9, John Cena.

Vin Diesel took to Instagram to announce that John Cena will appear in Fast and Furious 9. Who John Cena will play in Fast and Furious 9 is still a mystery, but Vin Diesel had some heartfelt words for fans and the late Paul Walker in the video. Check out the full Fast and Furious 9 casting announcement from Vin Diesel in the post below.

John Cena’s most recent big screen appearance was in 2018’s Bumblebee. Although fans will have to wait one year for Vin Diesel and John Cena to co-star in Fast and Furious 9, there is another highly-anticipated installment of the franchise coming this summer.

Before Fast and Furious 9 hits theaters, fans will be able to see the series’ first spin-off this year in Hobbs & Shaw. Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are returning as their titular roles to reluctantly team-up against Idris Elba’s super-powered villain. Neither John Cena or Vin Diesel have been announced to appear in Hobbs & Shaw but fans will be able to see them together in Fast and Furious 9 very soon.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Fast and Furious 9 as soon as more information becomes available.
