Vincent D'Onofrio is confident he'll reprise his role as the fearsome crime lord Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin in the Netflix corner of the MCU.
After having starred in the first season of Daredevil and returning for a smaller part in the second season of the hit series, D’Onofrio has been absent from all of Netflix’s subsequent Marvel follow-ups including the first seasons of Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and the street level hero team-up The Defenders. While the chance Wilson Fisk could appear on the silver screen in the MCU remains unlikely, the actor has made it clear that his character who still has unfinished business with Daredevil (Charlie Cox) has taken to Twitter to assure fans that he will eventually reprise the role of Wilson Fisk.
When a fan expressed their enthusiasm to see Vincent D’Onofrio return the role on Twitter, the actor responded by simply saying “Someday” he would. You can check out his Tweet below.
