Marvel's 'Thor: Ragnarok' director Taika Waititi shares a development test video that was used in the creation of Valkyrie's flashback.
The scene utilized some expert slow motion that looked like a live-action painting come to life through the vision of Taika Waititi and the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Waititi shared an early development test video that serves as one of the first steps into bringing the Valkyrie flashback to life. As it turns out, a new technique had to be used and with the help of Satellite Lab, the look of Valkyrie’s flashback came into fruition.

Here is the synopsis for Thor: Ragnarok.
“In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his home world and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela (Cate Blanchett). Directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok be available on Digital HD starting February 20 followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on March 6, 2018.
