‘The Walking Dead’: Lucille Baseball Bat Confiscated By TSA

A Walking Dead fan attempted to bring their replica of Negan's bat Lucille aboard their flight at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

The holiday season has officially begun and with it comes the busiest travel days of the year. So it is understandable that security will be extra careful when it comes to ensuring the safety of all passengers whether they travel by train or plane, a lesson one fan of The Walking Dead learned when their familiar piece of memorabilia was confiscated at the airport.

Yesterday, a Walking Dead fan attempted to bring their replica of Negan’s baseball bat Lucille, complete with barbed wire wrapping, aboard their flight at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Unfortunately for the fan, TSA agents confiscated the item, prompting TSA Regional Spokesperson Mark Howell to share a message via Twitter to any other fans considering traveling with Lucille. Check out the post below!

Fans have seen the damage Lucille can do on The Walking Dead, so the TSA was well within reason to confiscate the item. So, if you are planning on bringing Lucille to meet the family over the holidays, be sure to check her in a bag!

We know visiting certain family members over the holidays can be difficult, but I’d prefer to think Lucille was brought along more for the purpose of mashing potatoes or making homemade cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving dinner.

What? Was the joke that bad?
