New ‘WandaVision’ Promo Reveals January 2021 Premiere Date

We've still got a little longer to wait for 'WandaVision'.

A new promo for Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision reveals the series starts streaming on Disney Plus in January 2021.

Although Disney was insistent that the first Marvel Studios TV shows would arrive in 2020, a new promo officially confirms that WandaVision starts streaming in January 2021. It’s not clear whether the whole series will be available at once or if it’ll follow The Mandalorian in a weekly episode format. Airing weekly definitely helps keep the conversation and momentum of a series alive until its finale – which definitely seemed to work for The Boys on Amazon Prime.

But the new promo for WandaVision confirms the show arrives on January 15, 2021. Fans are understandably disappointed by the news, but that’s only because it’s quickly become one of the most interesting projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the comic-accurate outfits, Kathryn Hahn’s mysterious role and Teyonah Parris making her Marvel debut as an adult version of Monica Rambeau, there’s plenty of be excited about. Take a look at the reality warping WandaVision promo below.

What do you make of the WandaVision release date? Are you excited to see the first series from Marvel Studios? When do you think The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will arrive? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision:

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision is set to premiere on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on WandaVision and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content.
