‘WandaVision’ Creator On Connecting To ‘Spider-Man 3’ & ‘Doctor Strange 2’

It's all connected!

WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer provided insight into how she’s collaborating with the filmmakers behind Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In December, Kevin Feige confirmed WandaVision would kickstart the MCU’s multiverse arc that will continue in Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Since WandaVision will lead into the future Phase Four films, it’s expected that there will be plenty of seeds planted in the Disney Plus series.

While speaking with ComicBook.com, WandaVision creator Jac Shaeffer touched on the collaboration process with those who are working on Spider-Man 3 and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:

“There’s communication and it’s all overseen by Marvel, by Kevin [Feige] and the other phenomenal producers there. Yeah, I mean I can’t talk about the details of it but every creative on every show knows what they need to know in order to make sure we all connect in a way that works.”

Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Matt Shakman directed the series with Jac Schaeffer as the lead scribe; WandaVision will star Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. The President of Marvel Studios has said that the series leads into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

WandaVision premieres on Disney Plus every Friday. Keep following along to stay up to date on all of the latest news surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
