After what most consider a rocky start, the recent success of Aquaman and Shazam! had even the most critical fans eager to see what Warner Bros. has planned for the future of the DC Extended Universe. While fans hoped to see hear news or see fresh footage from Warner Bros.’ upcoming slate of DC films, the studio will not have a presentation at Comic-Con’s Hall-H this year.
Fandango’s Erik Davis first reported Warner Bros.’ absence at Hall-H in a social media post about It: Chapter 2 director Andy Muschietti announcing the highly-anticipated horror film will come to ScareDiego at San Diego Comic-Con, with new footage and additional “surprises” expected to be unveiled. While Warner Bros. won’t be present at Hall-H this year, the studio may have material for Comic-Con at its ScareDiego presentation.
