Warner Bros. Updates ‘Justice League’ Logo To Push DC Brand

Last week, it was learned that Joss Whedon will be given a writing credit on the upcoming Justice League film well after taking over for director Zack Snyder. While that bit of information may have been pleasant for fans to read, the 2017 Fall Movie Preview released to the press also displayed a slightly updated look at the Justice League logo. For this one, DC gets a little bit more love.

The logos, which you can see below, are virtually the same as the ones prior only with the DC logo placed above the film’s title. This isn’t new by any means, as Marvel Studios has the Marvel logo above each of its logos for films. While this may not do much for fans, it may help the far more casual audience who are still trying to figure out whether the Hulk is Marvel or DC.

Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Amber Heard as Mera, J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Julian Lewis Jones and Willem Dafoe. Here’s the official synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League hits theaters Nov. 17.
