In a new newsletter from THR, the trade revealed a bunch of new information, including the many villains of the film and the meticulous effort in casting Robert Pattinson as Batman. Robert Pattinson was announced as the frontrunner to play Batman in the Matt Reeves directed film late last night and while nothing is set in stone, the actor appears ready to take the role. But, Warner Bros is being very careful in how they cast Robert Pattinson due to the initial outrage from the casting of Ben Affleck.
WB is going to put Robert Pattinson through lengthy costume tests, screen tests, readings and meetings to make sure he’s the best fit for the role before signing him on.
