Since The Simpsons first debuted back in 1989, a huge number of celebrities have made a cameo on the show. Sometimes they appeared as themselves and at other times as a new, supporting character. But now The Russo Brothers are adding their name to The Simpsons‘ massive cameo list in a role that appears to be themselves.
The Russo Brothers’ previous film, Avengers: Endgame, became the highest-grossing film of all time. The directors previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War but seem to be done with the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the time being. In a post on their official Twitter account, the Avengers: Endgame directors talked about how they and their kids grew up watching The Simpsons and what a surreal experience it was to record their cameo on the long-running animated show.
