Watch ‘Wonder Woman’ Star Gal Gadot Kill It As A Musical Mermaid

Before she was captivating audiences with her performance as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot appeared as a Mermaid on an Israeli Hanukah charity special.

Before she was captivating audiences with her incredible performance as the titular superheroine in Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot appeared on an Israeli Hanukah charity special in 2009, the same year she was introduced to audiences in America as Giselle in Fast & Furious.

According to BuzzFeed, Gadot performed the song “Beloved” on the special that raised money for children. The song itself was a story about how the mermaid character and a man can get through anything together. But commenters on YouTube claim the song is called “In Love” from a 2008 performance.

You can watch Gadot kill it as a Mermaid in the video below.

Gadot will be seen again later this year reprising her role as the Amazonian Princess in Justice League.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, Ezra Miller as  Barry Allen/The Flash, Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amber Heard as Mera, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielson as Queen Hippolyta and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon.

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
