‘Man of Steel’ Features Cool ‘Watchmen’ Nod Hidden In Plain Sight

Man of Steel fans have spotted a nod to Zack Snyder’s Watchmen in the Henry Cavill Superman film.

The Watchmen nod in question can be during the Smallville battle between Henry Cavill’s Superman and General Zod’s underlings. As Superman gazes at a Kryptonian spacecraft, the shot is composed almost exactly like a shot in Watchmen and in both cases, an American flag is painted on the side of a wall.
