New ‘Watchmen’ Teasers May Have Revealed Tim Blake Nelson’s Looking Glass

HBO has unveiled three new Watchmen teasers that may have revealed Tim Blake Nelson’s Looking Glass.

HBO’s Watchmen series will be set in the same universe as Alan Moores’ acclaimed graphic novel of the same name and Tim Blake Nelson will star in the show as a character named Looking Glass. Although not much can be discerned from the Watchmen teasers, they may offer a new glimpse at Tim Blake Nelson’s Looking Glass as they prominently feature a new masked character wearing a reflective material for his disguise.

Furthermore, one of the Watchmen teasers also includes the caption, “The Abyss Gazes Also.” This is a reference to the title of Watchmen #6, in which the origin story of Walter Kovacs is revealed.

You can check out the new Watchmen teasers below.

Here is the official synopsis for HBO’s Watchmen:

Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

Watchmen stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Jean Smart, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Hong Chau, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, and James Wolk. The series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television, based on Alan Moore’s graphic novel co-created and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and published by DC.

Damon Lindelof serves as an executive producer alongside Nicole Kassell, Tom Spezialy, Stephen Williams, and Joseph Iberti. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will compose the score for the show.

Watchmen debuts in fall 2019 on HBO.
