While speculation continues to mount on whether or not a new Batman game will release, WB Games Montreal developers continue to drop hints on their next Batman or DC project. Previous hints were very simple or minuscule and now this one is completely redacted. You can check out the hint they’ve given us this time in the tweet below.
While it has been known that Warner Bros. is developing two video games set in the DC Universe, details on those projects are currently under wraps. However, WB assistant producer Valerie Vezina’s recently posted photo of a T-shirt featuring the Court of Owls logo and an accompanying caption with a redacted title for the game she is working on has prompted speculation that a Batman game involving the villainous group is in development.
In the comics, the Court of the Owls is a secret society and organized crime group that is known for kidnapping children from the circus, then training them to become assassins known as Talons.
Do you think it’s time we got another Batman game? Would you want to see it center around the Court of Owls? And if a game is truly in the works, do you think there may be an announcement by the time that E3 rolls around? Let us know in the comments below.
On the film side, Matt Reeve’s Batman film is one of the many projects being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. Additional films in the works include Suicide Squad 2, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Birds of Prey, Black Adam, Cyborg, Nightwing, Supergirl, New Gods, a Deathstroke film, and a Joker origin movie set outside of the DCEU.
Stay tuned to latest developments on any DC video games by Warner Bros. Montreal.
