Fan Transforms ‘Westworld’ Star Evan Rachel Wood Into Marvel’s Mystique

A fan has transformed Westworld star Evan Rachel Wood into the shapeshifting mutant from the X-Men known as Mystique.

Mystique has been a prominent character in the X-Men films. In the first trilogy, she was brought to life by actress Rebecca Romijn. And when the franchise was rebooted, Jennifer Lawrence took over the role and continue to play Mystique to this day. But now that the rights for all things X-Men belong to Disney, some think that the role may be recast to fit the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ongoing narrative. Evan Rachel Wood is a very talented actress and would be a very good choice to take on the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She plays an android on the hit HBO series and shows a vast range and ability to play multiple roles within one performance. Her character, Dolores, shows signs of kindness as well as expresses a very dark and sinister alter ego. That definitely seems like the criteria to play a shapeshifting mutant like Mystique. Until we learn about the X-Men’s future in the MCU ,fans will get to see Mystique, played by the also very talented Jennifer Lawrence, when X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters next year.
