Wild Dog From ‘Arrow’ Will Appear In Four-Night Crossover

For a show that’s remarkably dark and gritty, the guys over at Arrow seem to always have a hilarious reaction to metahumans and unexplained occurrences, just look at how Diggle reacts to meeting The Flash for the first time! It looks like the show is about to break this tradition, though.

Wild Dog, one of the new recruits in Arrow, isn’t so impressed by these super-powered beings. Actor Rick Gonzales spoke to ComicBook.com about his character’s inclusion in the upcoming four-night crossover (that sees Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow take on The Dominators):

“What I can say is that Wild Dog will be in the crossover, and he has a huge dislike for metahumans. So we’ll definitely see him not exactly rub well with The Flash and Supergirl and that’s just another glimpse into his psyche and his ideas and thinking about the world and the idea that there are people out there who have these sort of powers and who they are. Instead of saying ’Wow, these people can do these things,’ he says, ‘no, I don’t like you because this is what you bring to the table. This is what you represent to me.’”

Sounds interesting to say the least, it’ll be intriguing watching a character not take too kindly to these otherwise-praised heroes. We’re also anxious as to how the heroes themselves will respond to the not-so-warm welcome!

Arrow returns for another episode on Wednesday at 8pm ET, on The CW.
