Aladdin is one of the many live-action remakes that Disney has been working on and Guy Ritchie appears to be bringing the incredible world of Agrabah to life in this new adaptation. Will Smith is set to star as the famous Genie that Aladdin discovers in a lamp and grants him three wishes. Genie was previously portrayed in Disney’s animated film of the same name by the talented Robin Williams. Will Smith will be portraying Genie in the upcoming remake and the actor’s charismatic performance appears to be shinning well on screen. Will Smith’s new poster for Aladdin features Genie in his human form which he uses to hide in plain sight. Genie is seen wearing some blue clothing which could be a match to his famous blue look when he’s in full Genie form. At first, many fans were skeptical about Genie’s human form when pictures of Disney’s new film hit the internet. Now, with new trailers and new images, Aladdin appears to be another hit for Disney. Tickets for Aladdin went on sale today so you can get your place in Disney’s new film.

“Aladdin” is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future.
Directed by Guy Ritchie from a script he co-wrote with John August, the film stars Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, and Numan Acar as Hakim.
Aladdin will be released in theatres on May 24, 2019.
