Will Smith Describes ‘Suicide Squad’ Cast As The Horniest He’s Ever Worked With

With such a dark film and Jared Leto’s method acting as the Joker, the Suicide Squad cast needed a way to liven things up between takes. In an interview with MTV, Will Smith revealed a particular aspect of this cast which was brand new to him.

“I’ve worked with a lot of casts, and I have to say that this is the horniest group I’ve ever worked with without question. This is the horniest cast I’ve ever worked with. There is sort of a viral horniness that happened with this cast.”

It seems this “viral horniness” was simply a way to liven the mood, but Smith and the rest of the cast members wouldn’t give up any more details about why they were so horny on set.

“I probably need to pull out here right? (Cymbal sound), I’ll be here all week folks,” Smith added after being pressed for more details.

During the interview, it was also revealed that Joel Kinnaman, who plays Rick Flagg in the film, struggled with finding his set markers during filming. The cast took pleasure continually having to help him with pointing out the clearly laid luminous tape on the floor.

“Yeah we were trying all kinds of things to get Joel to get anywhere near his marks, just shoving him over. I just started bumping into him, like in the scenes knocking him onto his mark,” said Smith.

Suicide Squad hits theaters August 5th.
