Willa Holland Says To Expect Seeing More Of Speedy On ‘Arrow’

Arrow’s season five started off without most of the old members. Laurel Lance died at the hands of Damien Dahrk last season, John Diggle was, until recently, in prison after rejoining the military, and Thea Queen had decided that she’d rather be doing other things outside of being Speedy, like working in the mayor’s office, for a while.

This weekend, at the Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, the cast of Arrow was there for a panel and actress Willa Holland, who plays Thea, was asked whether or not we’d see her suit back up as Speedy and rejoin the team.

“Yeah, I definitely do! I miss that leather outfit a lot. I miss being in the Arrowcave. I miss shooting on set all the time!”

This past week, over sixty six new images from the four-show crossover–Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow—were released and Thea is seen in her Speedy costume. So we won’t have to wait very long to see her back in action and helping Team Arrow in their endeavors against the highly advanced alien attack.

“The crossover photos have leaked out….You see that I put my costume back on after 8 episodes of not wearing it. I have a feeling she’s going to be periodically putting it back on whenever it’s necessary.”

The CW‘s crossover event ”Invasion!” begins on November 28 on Supergirl and will feature the majority of the Arrowverse characters interacting and helping to take down the Dominators before they destroy Earth.
