Win Tickets To This Month’s Star Trek Beyond Fan Event

Last month we reported that Paramount was planning a fan event for the upcoming Star Trek Beyond, and now StarTrek.com is offering fans a chance to attend the event. Each day through Friday, Paramount will be giving away fifty pairs of tickets to the event with an additional daily grand prize that includes airfare and hotel accommodations. How do you enter? Well, I’m glad you asked.

To enter, participants should explain on video “How you go Beyond as a Star Trek fan” and why you should attend the Star Trek Beyond Fan Event in L.A., and then they must submit the video — 50 seconds long maximum — via Facebook or Twitter. To enter using Facebook, share your video as a comment on the Star Trek Movie Facebook Page (For the US and Canada: www.facebook.com/StarTrekMovie; for Australia: www.facebook.com/startrekAU; and for the United Kingdom: www:facebook.com/startrekUK, and be sure to include the hashtag #StarTrekContest. To enter on Twitter, share your video and tag @startrekmovie and include the hashtag #StarTrekContest. Winners will be notified on or about May 10.

The fan event will be held May 20 on the Paramount Studio lot and will feature appearances from director Justin Lin, members of the Star Trek Beyond cast and crew, and the debut of the new trailer for the film. For those of you who aren’t able to win tickets, they will be streaming the Q&A portions of the event over Facebook, and I imagine they’ll post the trailer at some point that weekend.

It’s no secret that I’m pretty darn excited about this new movie, but Paramount’s marketing for this one (or lack thereof) has been odd to say the least. Hopefully this fan event will give us some more information to go on and give us a better look of what we have in store come July 22. Either way, Heroic Hollywood will keep you updated with whatever news comes out of the event.
