‘The Witcher’: First Look At Yennefer In Henry Cavill Netflix Series

A new video from the set of Henry Cavill’s The Witcher Netflix series has surfaced online, showing Anya Chalotra as Yennefer.

The Witcher is one of Netflix’s most anticipated shows due to the popularity of the main character Geralt of Rivia who will be portrayed by Henry Cavill. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League star Henry Cavill has long been a fan-favorite to play Geralt in the series and now fans will be able to see the charismatic actor in the role. The show has been in production for some time now and a new set video gives fans a first look at its Yennefer. You can check out the video below.

The set video appears to be from an outdoor location shoot with small glimpses of Yennefer interacting with another character. The person who recorded the video appeared to comment on the post describing what was going on. Apparently, the clip was cut short to prevent spoilers, but the person who recorded it gave a description of the scene being filmed. According to this person, Yennefer was being yelled at by the other character present in the scene who was a girl in a red dress. The Witcher appears to be in great production with many people on board after the casting of Henry Cavill for the Netflix series. Fans will soon be able to see Henry Cavill take on another iconic role as Geralt of Rivia.

Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix’s The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia portrayed by Henry Cavill. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.

The Witcher stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Freya Allan as Ciri, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, Jodhi May as Queen Calanthe, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Aretuza, and Millie Brady as Princess Renfri, with Mimi Ndiweni and Therica Wilson-Read as novice sorcerers.

The Witcher will be available on Netflix later this year.
