‘Wonder Woman 1984’: New Look At Gal Gadot’s Diana In Gold Armor On Magazine Cover

Empire Magazine unveiled new covers featuring Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in both of her superhero costumes for Wonder Woman 1984.

Warner Bros.’ next entry in the DC Extended Universe film series will be the long-awaited sequel to Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a little longer than expected for the film to hit theaters, but Empire Magazine has unveiled two new Wonder Woman 1984 covers to tide them over for now.

The first cover features Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince in the Golden Eagle Armor while wielding the iconic Lass of Truth. The second Wonder Woman 1984 cover features the titular heroine with the same weapon, but this time in her classic outfit from the original film.

You can check out both covers in the post below.

Are you excited to see the long-awaited sequel? Let us know in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest news on the film as it develops.

The film is one of the many projects affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Originally scheduled to be released in early June, Warner Bros. opted to push the debut date to mid-August in hopes that the crisis will have abated by then and movie theaters, which have been forced to shut down, can re-open their doors.

Full details on the Wonder Woman 1984 plot are being kept under wraps, but the film is said to follow Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince as she comes into conflict with a formidable new adversary named Cheetah and businessman Maxwell Lord.

Directed by Patty Jenkins from a script she co-wrote with David Callaham and a treatment she developed with Geoff Johns, the film stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Natasha Rothwell, Ravi Patel, Gabriella Wilde, Connie Nielson, and Robin Wright.

Wonder Woman 1984 is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on August 14, 2020.
