‘Wonder Woman’ Soars Past $300 Million At Domestic Box Office

Wonder Woman has officially soared past the $300 million mark at the domestic box office. The Patty Jenkins-directed film made an additional $7.3 million at the Friday box office and will probably gross $319.4 million by tomorrow. If the film makes the expected $26.17 million, then Wonder Woman will become the record-holder for best fourth-weekend gross for Warner Bros. and will come in ahead of The Dark Knight.

Patty Jenkins has been pretty open about where she’d like the sequel to be set and other ideas, so hopefully we’ll be hearing more news soon about what the story for Wonder Woman 2 will be.
