‘Wonder Woman 1984’ CinemaCon Footage Description Reveals Cheetah

New footage for Wonder Woman 1984 was revealed at Warner Bros’ presentation at Cinema Con in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

The first footage for Wonder Woman 1984 was revealed while the film was still shooting at last year’s San Diego Comic Con. That footage revealed a chase sequence in a 80s mall. That was all before the film was pushed back to a summer 2020 release date. Promotion for the upcoming sequel has been quiet, but Warner Bros. debuted new footage at Cinema Con. ComicBook.com‘s Brandon Davis shared a description of the sizzle shown at the convention:

“Wonder Woman jumps across a street. Diana walks in front of the Washington Monument cuddling with Steve Trevor. She whips her lasso in a mall. Her colleague becomes her nemesis in the form of Cheetah. It ends with a shot of her jetting down a street at super speed.”

Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins was also featured in the sizzle reel, were she revealed:

“Diana is now at her full powers.”
