‘Wonder Woman’ Star Gal Gadot Praises Ben Affleck’s Take On ‘Batman’

Though Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was met with a largely negative reception, many praised Ben Affleck’s performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman, with some contending that Affleck was the best actor to don the cape and cowl to date. Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot appears to agree with the sentiment in an interview with Sky Cinema where she explains why Ben Affleck may be her favorite actor to have taken on the role.

Gal Gadot praised her co-star and the films take on the dark knight.

“I think that Ben is such a good actor. Very, very talented. I think the interpretation that they gave Batman in this movie they wanted him to be more weary, more tired of life, more cynical, more dark. I think that Ben captured it in such a sophisticated way. He’s one of my favorite Batmans, for sure – if not the best one.”

You can check out the interview below!

Gal Gadot will reprise her role in Wonder Woman and will again star opposite Ben Affleck in Justice League later this year.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, Amber Heard, Kiersey Clemons, Willem Dafoe and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League will be released in theaters on November 17, 2017.
