‘Wonder Woman’: Gal Gadot Says Diana Would Beat Superman In A Fight

Though Wonder Woman will be the titular heroines first standalone feature film, Gal Gadot made her first appearance as the character in last year’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice where she fought alongside the Man of Steel. Of course, as has been the case since the creation of superheroes, a number of fans have wondered how a potential showdown between both heroes would unfold. In an interview with WBTV Brazil, Gal Gadot weighed in on the debate when asked if her version of Wonder Woman could beat Henry Cavill’s Superman in a fight.

Gadot stated that while the fight would be close, Wonder Woman would emerge victorious.

“For sure. It’s gonna be a tight one, but yes.”
