‘Wonder Woman’ Leads Celebrate International Women’s Day With Video

The leads of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot and Chris Pine) have released a promotional video promoting both the movie and International Women's Day.

Wonder Woman leads Gal Gadot and Chris Pine have just released a video promoting International Women’s Day. In the video, they encourage users to share stories celebrating women that inspire them, whether they’re in their lives, they have left a mark in history, or are if they making a difference right now.

While no new footage was shown in this clip, a final trailer for the movie is on track to be released soon.

“Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.”

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince (Wonder Woman), Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Sir Patrick Morgan, Elena Anaya as Doctor Maru, Ewen Bremner as Charlie, Saïd Taghmaoui as Sameer, and Eugene Brave Rock as the Chief.
