‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Director Patty Jenkins Regrets Asking To Have Release Date Pushed Back

Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins has already seen an early screening of her film and she says it’s “frustrating” to have to wait.

Nobody likes to wait for a good thing, but good things happen to those who wait. Wonder Woman 1984 director Patty Jenkins has screened an early cut of the upcoming DC film starring Gal Gadot as the heroine Diana Prince.

Patty Jenkins expressed during an interview that she lobbied for the summer of 2020 release date even though Warner Bros. wanted the film to release earlier. Now that Patty Jenkins has seen the film or at least an early version of the film she would love it to release sooner:

“You guys, it’s got to be the summer of 2020, like it’s got to be and that was what I always wanted. And now, I’ve just screened a version of the film and I’m like OH MY GOD can we move it back up again! I’m dying to release this film.”
