‘Wonder Woman’: Sarah Paulson Wants To Play Cheetah In Sequel

With the success of Wonder Woman, it should come as no surprise that an award-winning actress is throwing her name in to be considered for the sequel.

With the success of Wonder Woman, it should come as no surprise that an award-winning actress is throwing her name in to be considered for the sequel.

Actress Sarah Paulson was tagged in a Tweet in which a fan expressed their desire to see Barbara Ann Minerva AKA Cheetah in the upcoming sequel, perhaps to be played by either Charlize Theron or Sarah Paulson herself. Paulson responded to the Tweet saying “Yes please” and tagged Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.

Wonder Woman is now available on home video. Its cast includes Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, David Thewlis as Sir Patrick Morgan, Elena Anaya as Doctor Isabel Maru (Doctor Poison), and Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff.

Wonder Woman 2 is in development with a tentative release date of November 1, 2019. Confirmed to return are Gal Gadot as Diana Prince and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
