‘Wonder Woman’ Set Pictures Seem To Confirm Ares Will Be Looking For [Spoiler]

A while back, we dropped a scoop revealing that Ares is looking to incite a war with a magical sword. It now appears as if that scoop may have been confirmed by the following set images, which show Wonder Woman receiving an epic sword and shield from love interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) and a woman whose face we cannot see.  You can check out the photos here.

Eagle-eyed viewers may notice that this is not the sword pictured in the banner for this article, indicating that she may not have this sword by the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As for why it is no longer in her possession, we’ll just have to wait and see when the WWI-era Wonder Woman film hits theaters next year. But if you’ll recall our scoop, this sword was rumored to disappear during a massive fight scene between Wonder Woman and Ares during the climax of the film.
