‘Wonder Woman’ TV Spot Boasts Her Superiority To Batman & Superman

A brand new TV spot for the upcoming DC Extended Universe film 'Wonder Woman' boasts why her powerful significance dwarfs Batman and Superman.

Now that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has hit theaters, it is time for Wonder Woman to shine. The first standalone theatrical outing for the most iconic female superhero in history is a little under a month away, and the marketing campaign is ready to skyrocket as the Amazonian warrior is ready to take the world by storm.

A brand new TV spot for Wonder Woman has been released, courtesy of Warner Bros. Singapore. You can check out the new TV spot down below.

The TV spot boasts how the power and prominence of Wonder Woman is superior to her fellow Justice Leaguers Batman and Superman. While Batman has to take on the criminals in Gotham City and Superman has to encounter the threats that unleash upon Metropolis, Wonder Woman has the entire world to save.

Even some of the harshest critics of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice came out enjoying Gal Gadot’s performance as Wonder Woman. Her effortless mix of femininity, strength and determination are driving forces of why anticipation for this film continues to grow.

Here’s the synopsis for Wonder Woman:

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Sir Patrick Morgan, Elena Anaya as Doctor Maru, Ewen Bremner as Charlie, Saïd Taghmaoui as Sameer and Eugene Brave Rock as the Chief. The screenplay was written by Jenkins, Allan Heinberg and DC Films’ co-head Geoff Johns, with story by Heinberg and Justice League director Zack Snyder.

Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017.
