‘X-Men’ Alum Daniel Cudmore Joins ‘Marvel’s Helstrom’ Series

Former X-Men star Daniel Cudmore has joined the cast of Marvel’s Helstrom series.

Actor Daniel Daniel Cudmore is moving from the X-Men franchise to a new Marvel property as a cast member of the Helstrom series for Hulu. Details on Daniel Cudmore’s character are currently unknown, though Deadline reports the X-Men alum is set to play a recurring role on Helstrom.

Daniel Cudmore joins Tom Austen as Daimon Helstrom, Sydney Lemmon as Ana Helstrom, and Elizabeth Marvel as Victoria Helstrom. Production on Marvel’s Helstrom is currently underway.

Daniel Cudmore portrayed Piotr Rasputin / Colossus in three installments of the X-Men films series. In addition to his role in the X-Men films, Daniel Cudmore has starred in the Twilight films and appeared in multiple episodes of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

“Daimon and Ana Helstrom are the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer in Marvel’s Helstrom. The siblings have a complicated dynamic as they track down the terrorizing worst of humanity — each with their attitude and skills.”

Helstrom will be released on Hulu in 2020.
